Catalogue products carry the numbers the calculations and the checks need. You can add your own, and you can ask us to put up to ten a year into everyone's catalogue.
It is not a picture catalogue. Every product carries the data the calculations need: rack units and depth, current draw and voltage, PoE class, number and type of connectors, sensitivity and dispersion for loudspeakers, power and impedance for amplifiers. These are the numbers that make the checks work: a product with no data is a product the software cannot verify.
You can create your own products and families inside the application, without asking anyone: they stay in your personal library, which remains yours even when you change version.
